Our sales team is integral in expanding our reach in order to grow the business. While you will be working remotely from a home office and traveling for shows and meetings it would be ideal for the candidate to be based in the Southeast. Take a look. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for an energetic, entrepreneurial self-starting Account Executive, developing business and relationships for MIA is the key to success. Since you will be working remotely, you don't need to be micro-managed, and you're motivated to hit and exceed sales goals. You will be a brand evangelist for MIA, educating future and current customers on our products, and targeting organizations whose stores, web fronts and catalogs would benefits from our fantastic footwear. In this role, you will take charge of: • Pioneering and growing an existing territory for MIA • Growing our account list with research initiative, trade shows and b2b selling. • Identifying, finding, and qualifying leads, accts and all new business • Building and maintaining relationships with potential customers and existing customers • Caring for accounts; giving them speedy, attentive customer service and sales guidance • Championing MIA’s awesomeness, fashion presence and quality of product • Staying connecting to Management and your team, keeping everyone in the know about your activities and wins REQUIREMENTS • You are experienced and knowledgeable about the sales process , you are focused on generating new business, and manage accounts like a pro. • You are outstanding on the phone. You're courageous in dialing up people that aren’t yet familiar with MIA and closing the sale, setting appointments and scheduling meetings for Trade Shows. • You're relationship-centric. You recognize that the sales cycle can be lengthy at times, and know how to keep the conversation and relationship going. • You're detail-oriented. You are organized and are consistent. In our business, follow-up is key! • You are obsessed with Footwear. You have your favorites, and you "get" what MIA is all about. • You are reliable, and have a track record to prove it. DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED • Experience working in the footwear or apparel industries in a selling capacity. • Experience working remotely and/or travel for meetings/trade shows
